In 2023, we invested significantly on our broadband infrastructure, for both wi-fi and ethernet connections. There is a B4RN connection in each room  We also host the B4RN cabinet for the area.
Yes, very much so. Just down the road, a short walk away is St Mary's Church. There are many benches positioned in the grounds, so potential for a nice rest before walking through the gates and on to Main Street, and our lovely shopping street with newsagent, card shop, butchers, clothes shops, charity shops post office and gift shops. We also have Boots the Chemist, and famous high street brands FatFace and Edge of the World. There is a Booths supermarket, and a Spar shop. The Doctors surgery is a short walk away, and we also have a local dentist. There are several very popular coffee shops, and many different styles of pub. In fact, pretty much everything you could wish for on a daily basis, is in Kirkby Lonsdale.
There is a bus service which runs to a timetable to Kendal and beyond. There is also a volunteer car service, which can be booked if you have a medical appointment to attend. There is a small mileage charge for this and as it is run by volunteer drivers, booking is made by telephone and is on a first come, first served basis.
